The situation
Living where the work is
Two major sites tie up outside firms in the district for years, the Hochrhein railway and the new hospital in Albbruck. There are few hotels, guest houses and contractor rooms in Waldshut and Tiengen, and anyone staying for months pays per room and night. Our units are inside the town, not on the edge of the district.
Whole flats
Kitchen, washing machine, own bathroom, single beds. Over an assignment of weeks that is the difference between sleeping somewhere and living somewhere.
Parking at the door
Vans included. No parking ticket, no hunting for a space in the morning, the vehicle stands outside the door.
One invoice
Invoiced to the company, not to individual workers. Utilities included, VAT shown separately, one collective invoice per month.

Projects under way
Two projects in the district tie up outside firms for years, alongside the ongoing work in industry and energy.
Hochrhein railway
Electrification and upgrading between Basel and Erzingen, around 434 million euros, entering service at the end of 2027. The section has been closed since April: overhead lines, rebuilding of Waldshut, Tiengen and Lauchringen stations, work on the Aarberg and Rappenstein tunnels, three new bridges.
Albbruck health park
Site works for the new central hospital have been running since spring: roads, the connection to the B34 and the utilities. The hospital building itself follows once contracts are awarded, with completion targeted for 2030.
Works and grid on the Hochrhein
Metal, plastics and hydropower along the Rhine, plus grid and substation plant. These assignments are smaller than the two major sites, but they run all year and often for months.

Dates by arrangement rather than on a fixed weekday. It is always the same people, our own staff, never a changing outside firm in an occupied unit. Cleaning is invoiced separately, as a rule every two weeks.
