Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions for companies
Corporate and project accommodation on the Hochrhein. For assignments in Switzerland and in the Waldshut district.
How short or how long can we book?
Depending on the unit, from four nights or from one month. Which rule applies to a unit is stated on its own page. There is no upper limit: several of our units have been occupied by the same companies for years without a break.
What does it cost and what is included?
Billing is per person and night. Electricity, heating and water, internet, bed linen and towels and parking are included. Where a visitor's tax applies, we cover it, along with the broadcasting fee, and do not charge it separately. Cleaning is charged separately. We do not ask for a deposit.
How does the cleaning work?
At least every two weeks, and we set the dates around your shift plan. Anyone working nights should not be woken by a vacuum cleaner at ten in the morning. The price follows the size of the unit and is stated in the booking confirmation.
Does the company get the invoice?
Yes. The contract is always with the company, never with the individual worker. The invoice goes out monthly in advance, at the latest seven days before the end of the month, payable within five days. Payment by bank transfer, Stripe or PayPal.
Do you issue registration certificates?
Yes, for every person accommodated: a confirmation of accommodation with the address and the period, issued by us, not by the residents' registration office. We need the name, home address, nationality and a contact person in advance. We do not keep a registration form: the contracting party is your company, and that does not create an accommodation relationship with the individual people. It is different only if you book individual rooms or beds; we then say so in the booking confirmation. If someone has to register their residence at our address, arrange it with us beforehand and we issue the landlord confirmation.
What happens if the project is postponed?
Tell us more than 8 weeks before arrival and we move the dates once, free of charge. After that we look for a replacement period within 6 months together, and charge 10 per cent of the postponed period instead of the release fee. We would rather do that than lose the booking, because projects do shift.
And if we have to cancel?
Bookings are binding, there is no right of cancellation. You can release yourself at any time with a release fee: more than eight weeks before arrival 25 per cent, up to four weeks 50 per cent, up to two weeks 75 per cent, after that 90 per cent. The full scale is in clause 5.3 of the terms (German). That settles it. Whatever we let to someone else we credit against it, and you may name a replacement tenant at any time.
Can people change during the stay?
Yes, and at no extra cost. A change does need our prior consent, though. Send us the new person's name and details, for the registration forms and the records; if we do not object within two working days, consent counts as given. As a rule we agree. We would just like to know who is in the house.
When can people arrive?
The unit is ready from 4 pm, and after that arrival is possible around the clock, three in the morning included. There is no reception and nobody waiting up for you. You get the access code in advance. Departure is by 11 am.
Is there parking, vans included?
As a rule yes, and at no extra cost. Whether a unit suits vans or Sprinters is stated on the unit page. We mark the exceptions there explicitly.
Do we share the unit with other companies?
No. You always get the whole unit for your own use, unless the booking confirmation explicitly states individual rooms. That holds even when you do not fill every place.
What about notification, A1 and customs?
We have separate pages on each of these with what matters for posting companies. We are not legal advisers, but we know the questions from daily work. A phone call is usually the fastest way.
Still something open? Call or write, we normally answer the same day.
